Raytheon  company is a technical and innovation leader specializing in defense, civil government and cyber security solutions. It is founded in the year 1922. Raytheon provides state of the art electronics, mission systems integration, capabilities in C5I (command, control, communications, computing, cyber and intelligence), sensing, effects and mission support services. It’s headquarters is in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Following are the major tools that the company has introduced to the public.
§        Call Center Analytics
 Avoke  Analytics -The AVOKE Call Browser is an innovative system that records calls in the telecom network and provides analytics in a hosted web application. It transparently records customer experiences from dialing-to-hang-up including your Interactive Voice Response, all transfers, internal call centers, and partner sites.
§       Distributed and scalable monitoring and analysis of foreign language Web sites, broadcast media, and social media
 BBN Multimedia Monitoring System (M3S) - M3S is an end-to-end capability for collecting, translating, searching and organizing content from a range of media types in multiple languages. Sources include content from the World Wide Web, broadcast media, YouTube videos, Twitter and facebook.  M3S integrates and manages the media analysis process from beginning to end.

 TransTalk™-English language speech is automatically translated and spoken in the foreign language. The foreign language speaker’s response is then automatically translated into English. BBN’s speech-to-speech translation technology is language independent and can be configured for any language pairing.
·         Multifunction Android Situation Awareness Device
 DIABLO - The DIABLO is available with the Android™ operating system allowing integration of rapidly emerging tactical applications. Common DIABLO applications include battlefield situational awareness, moving map display, unattended ground sensor configuration and notifications, and video recording playback.
STRATEGIC PLANS FOR SUCCESS
Raytheon’s CEO  Dr. Thomas. A. Kennedy is so focused on establishing a balanced capital deployment strategy that keeps share holders happy. He is keen on investing more revenue in new technology than his industry peers and winning a series of franchise- quality competitions for next-generation military systems.
The company is mainly focused on it’s cyber security for it’s technological growth. Last year, company disclosed a joint venture with Vista Equity partners Ltd through which the company is planning to develop cross marketing solutions which will be useful for both the government agencies and commercial users around the world. According to their calculations, the enterprise developed in this manner will have a capital of 500 million dollars.

The company is rapidly taking market share from high level competitors that enables customers to differentiate  Raytheon’s  products from it’s competitors. One of the major highlights among Raytheon’s products is the Gallium nitride , a revolutionary semiconductor material, which the company was shaping for years for perfection. The company claims that this particular product can be employed in future radars, jamming systems and other sophisticated electronic systems. Another part is to promote company’s already robust technologies in overseas military markets. The CEO Mr. Kennedy thinks that he can obtain more turnovers by focusing on a country – by- country basis rather than focusing on a particular region alone. So the company is searching for new markets where demand for military services are upcoming and the Company’s main markets.
